The term of Central Bank Governor, Dr Nanadalal Weerasinghe, will be extended by President Rajapaksa for another term of six years.
Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has recommended Dr Weerasinghe’s extension as the finance minister.
Dr Weerasinghe will accordingly function as the Governor Central Bank for another term.
