The NCPA makes inquiries about a child injured in the Rambukkana incident
A child has also sustained injuries during the Rambukkana shooting, where the Police shot dead a retreating protestor. Although the authorities were trying to sweep the incident under the carpet, the latest reports said a child also suffered injuries in the incident.
The National Child Care Protection Authority had inquired the CID for details of the incident reports said.
The Rambukkana shooting took place on the 19th of April after a group of protesters demanded fuel at old prices and blocked all entry and exit roads into Rambukkana town, as well as the main railway line to Kandy for more than 15 hours.
