The three-day Indo-Pacific Regional Dialogue organised in Delhi by the navy adds to the debate on the challenge posed by China’s acts of intimidation and aggression, and on possible solutions. This video package from Bharat Shakti gives a snapshot of some of the key points made by serving and retired officers from the armed forces, diplomats, ministers and foreign delegates. It’s evident from the tone and tenor of the deliberations that the focus was on keeping China engaged despite the latter’s persistent provocations. It reflected, on the one hand, the world’s search for ways in which China could be persuaded to relent. On the other, it was about how to work together to blunt China and send the message that this is not something they can win.
