About 1.4 million people in the construction industry will receive job opportunities once again after the review of the International Monetary Fund in September, says former MP Ashu Marasinghe.
Speaking at a press conference at the Sirikotha Marasinghe, the government is focusing on reducing the cost of living of the people as well as the re-employment of people who have lost their jobs.
It has been possible to bring inflation down to the level of 10% today by controlling the rate of increase in commodity prices, which was around 92 per cent, he says.
