National People's Power parliamentarian Dr. Harini Amarasuriya today said that her party cannot be a part of the alliance led by Parliamentarian Dullus Alahapperuma as the alliance led by Dullas comprises individuals who have been admittedly involved in corruption and fraud. "This alliance represents parliamentarians who took decisions that are detrimental to the country", she said. Dr. Amarasuriya said there are many parliamentarians in that alliance who voted for the 18th, 19th, 20th, and 21st Amendments to the Constitution. Addressing a press conference in Peradeniya, Dr. Amarasuriya said that this alliance consists of individuals who did not take any action to prevent corruption and fraud in the country. Parliamentarian Anura Kumara Dissanayake will definitely vie for the next presidential election with the party", she said.
