Mahinda Rajapaksa holds the dubious honour of having held  most of the positions in government.  He has gone from Chief Opposition Whip, to Prime Minister, Leader of the Opposition, Executive President, to appointed Prime Minister, and is now back as the Leader of the Opposition.
