Parliamentarian Tissa Attanayake said that the Opposition has decided to withdraw from the Parliamentary Select Committee appointed to inquire into the reasons that led to the economic bankruptcy in the country.
He said that the opposition has decided to appoint a separate committee to find out the reason for the country's bankruptcy.
He said that the Opposition will inform the public about the composition of the committee that will be appointed for this purpose. A system will also be made available for local or foreign individuals to present information in writing or orally.
