Prime minister Mahinda Rajapaksa today emphasised that he would not step down come what may. Certain parties are hellbent on attacking us from time to time, the Prime minister said.
“We have to forge ahead while finding solutions to the current issues,” he said.
” Nobody can scare me away, and I am not prepared to step down,” he told a packed audience at the Temple Trees addressing grass-root level politicians of the SLPP.
Meanwhile, protestors at the Galle Face rejected the Prime Minister’s assertion and said that the growing demand of the people of this country is for him to step down immediately, and they have no truck with a few henchmen who want him to stay they said.
