Police tear-gassed protesting students of the Inter-University Students Federation near Parliament road at Polduwa forcing them to withdraw. The students came in procession from the Sri Jayawardena Pura Univesity demanding the present government resign. They also called for a system change to prevent corruption and malpractice.
