Reserves the right to file a fresh report if it turns violent.

The Colombo Fort Police today filed a report regarding the unabated public protest in the Galle Face green area.

The Police filed this report (A/21838/22 under the signature of Fort Police Station OIC, reserving their duty to file a new B report if the protest turned violent.

In its report, the Fort Police said the protest has caused severe traffic congestion near the Galle Face green area and caused disturbance to pedestrians. Police have also reported to the court that unauthorised loudspeakers had caused noise pollution in the area.
