Police have used excessive force to disperse people gathered at a vaccination center in Weligama Matara yesterday. The incident took place when people gathered at the Galbokka Vaccination center in Weligama to receive their vaccines. Halfway through health officials, have announced that they had run short of vaccines, but the people have gathered in their numbers to receive the vaccine. Eventually, the Police has reportedly used excessive force to disperse the crowds by baton charging them.
