President to address the nation

President Gotabaya Rajapaksa will address the nation today, according to the Presidential Media Unit.
With the escalating Covid deaths and patients, the government is likely to take measures to prevent, further spread of the pandemic.
Both prelates of the Malwatte and Asgiriya chapters have already requested the government to place the country under lockdown for at least one week.
