President Ranil Wickremesinghe visited the Yala National Wildlife Park to witness how the authorities were supplying water to the lakes in the park for the use of wild animals. The prevailing drought in the region has caused a severe shortage of water for the animals. with almost all the lakes and water ditches running out of water and drying up.
