R Rajamahendran passes away

R Rajamahendran the Chairman of the Capital Maharaja Group passed away this morning.
He was 79. Mr Mahendran was being treated at a hospital in Colombo at the time of his death.
A prominent businessman and media magnate, he was the owner of prominent TV channels Sirasa, Shakthi and TV1 and several radio channels.
