The remains of the 16 year-old-girl Ishlani who died under tragic circumstances while working as a domestic aide at MP Rishad Bathiudeen’sresidence, has been exhumed.
Her remains were buried at Dayagama in the Hatton area. The Police guarded the burial site after the Magistrate’s Court allowed the Police to exhume the body.
The body exhumed today in the presence of a special medical term has been sent to the Peradeniya Teaching hospital for a second autopsy.
