Rev.Fr. Cyril Gamini arrives at the CID.

Rev. Fr. Cyril Gamini arrived at the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) today to give a statement sequel to a complaint made by Major General Suresh Sally. The CID confirmed, they informed the Catholic priest to appear before the CID to record a statement. The complaint was regarding certain remarks made by Rev, Fr, Cyril Gamini at w binary held on the Easter Sunday attacks. The CID, on two previous occasions, summoned Rev Fr Cyril Gamini, but he declined. Instead Rev.Fr. Cyril Gamini went before the Supreme Court seeking an order preventing his arrest. When the matter cm up before the Supreme Court, the Attorney General assured the Court that there was no plan hatched to arrest the priest.
