Yala wild Life authorities arrested a safari jeep driver for allegedly harassing a tusker in the Yala national park.
Several safari jeeps were on the way when the elephant got on to the same route face to face.
Reportedly, the jeep drivers used firecrackers to chase the tusker away. Park sources said that Safari Jeep drivers would have allowed the tusker to pass the jeeps and go on its course without harassing it. A similar incident took place last year too.
