Sara, youngest solo woman pilot, lands in Colombo

The youngest woman pilot to fly solo, across five continents, in her light aircraft arrived at the Ratmalana Airport Colombo today. Sara Rutherford, the 19-year-old Belgian –British teenager, expects to cover 5100 kilometres by the end of January 2022. Sara expects to travel to 52 countries across five continents. Colombo is her latest stop. Sara Rutherford is flying a high-performance ultra-light aircraft manufactured in Europe, especially for long journeys.
