The Sinpoec is likely to commence its operations in Sri Lanka on September 20th. Accordingly, Sinopec is likely to sell all its products at a lower price than the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation.
The Ministry of Power and Energy Sources said that there was no restriction imposed on Sinopec as far as prices are concerned. Accordingly, consumers will get petroleum products at a very competitive price in the open market, he said.
