SJB goes to the CID over the disappearance of NMRA data

Deputy General Secretary of the SJB NalinJayamaha has complained to the Criminal Investigation Department regarding the disappearance of data from the Computer system at the National medical Regulatory Authority (NMRA).
A group of lawyers representing the SJB were also present.
Addressing the media, Parliamentarian Jayamaha said the previous government initiated a programme to collect and systematically store data to control the drug prices and the drug mafia.
This government has increased the prices of drugs beyond the means of the people. Therefore we requested the CID to probe the data scandal and bring the culprits before the law. He said it appears the drug mafia has once again raised its head and stressed that it is a threat to national security.
