Parliamentarians Nalin Bandara Jayamaha and Wasantha Yapa Bandara were suspended from Parliament only for today following a tense situation over the allocation of time for oral questions.
They were ordered to leave the chamber by Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena for rushing towards the chair and shouting at Deputy Speaker Ajith Rajapaksa.
The proceedings were also adjourned for ten minutes due to the uproar this morning.
MP Wasantha Yapa Bandara started asking more questions after receiving answers to his questions.
Later, both MPs Yapa Bandara and Nalin Bandara Jayamaha
made various statements while asking more questions.
