Sri Lanka to receive consignments of AstraZeneca and Pfizer vaccines shortly

Sri Lanka is to receive 78,000 doses of the Pfizer vaccine in the latter part of July, the Government said today. Plans a r e underway to use the“Pfizer vaccine as the second dose for those who obtained the AstraZeneca vaccine” Health ministry officials said Meanwhile Sri Lanka will receive another consignment of 264,000 AstraZeneca vaccinesthat will be used as the 2nd dose for over 60s.
