Foreign Minister Ali Sabry says that steps will be taken to evacuate Sri Lankans in Israel if such a need arises.
He says that the Sri Lankans in Israel are closely monitored by the Sri Lankan Embassy in Tel Aviv, and the embassy staff, led by the Sri Lankan ambassador, are working on this with the utmost dedication.
The Minister said that steps will be taken to send them to detention centres if it is necessary due to the ongoing war. He also said that the Sri Lankan Embassy in Israel is working closely with regional missions, including the United Arab Emirates, in this regard.
