State minister Jayantha Samaraweera resigns.

State Minister of Warehousing Facilities, Container Yards, Ports Supply Facilities and Boat and Shipping Industry Development Jayantha Samaraweera has tendered his resignation from his ministerial portfolio.

His resignation was a sequel to the removal of NFF leader Wimal Weerawansa as the cabinet minister of Industries.

MP Samaraweera said he has handed over his resignation letter to the President.
