Suspect in the Easter Sunday bomb attack dies in National Hospital

A suspect who was in remand Easter Sunday for his alleged involvement in the Easter Sunday attacks, died while receiving treatment at the National Hospital in Colombo.
The 42 year old suspect, was a resident of Kalmunai. He was admitted to the Prisons Hospital on November 23 last year due to an ailment.
He was later transferred to the Colombo National Hospital and died while undergoing treatment at the Intermediate Coronary Care Unit (ICCU)at the National Hospital.
The suspect was remanded on 06 April, 2021 for his alleged involvement in the Easter Sunday attack
