Since Sri Lanka has been classified as a country in the “red list” passengers from Sri Lanka will not be allowed to travel to the United Kingdom, from June the Sri Lankan Airlines announced.

However, British, Irish nationals and anyone with residence rights in the UK is exempted from this.

The Airline further announced that if passengers have already booked their travel on Sri Lankan’s next three flights to London, UL 503 on 05th, 06th, and 07th June will not be affected by this directive.

The Airline said that the passengers who were allowed to travel must take a COVID-19 test and obtain a negative result 72 hours before their travel.

“They also need to book a managed quarantine hotel within 14 days before arrival and must provide a quarantine package invoice number to complete their passenger locator form,” the statement said.
