A tuition master who had pointed a laser light at the magistrate from inside the court room during the proceedings of the Kaduwela Magistrate’s Court was arrested by Kaduwela police this evening.
The Kaduwela police OIC and a police team searched nearly a hundred people present in the courthouse after the incident was reported to the police by the Kaduwela Magistrate’s Court registrar.
The suspect was found in possession of a device that emits laser light. He is a resident of Kotte.
