A man who came to buy essential food provisions from a supermarket, tagging along with him a wheelbarrow, was arrested by the Police.
He was seen on the road this morning when travel restrictions were relaxed.
Mohamed Ajwad Mohomed Rimsan became prominent on social media platforms carrying his provisions in a wheelbarrow since the government directed the people to buy their provisions at the nearest shop and barred them from using any mode of transport.
The video went viral on social media platforms which prompted the Police to arrest him for not wearing a mask and violating quarantine regulations.
The man in question is from Dhargatown Aluthgama.
