Thushan Gunawardena, the former Executive Director of the Consumer Affairs Authority has complained to the Kirulapone Police regarding suspicious behavior by an unidentified group in a white van near his house.
Gunawardena has claimed that the suspicious white van had arrived last Thursday morning.
A neighbor had informed Gunawardena that a person who alighted from the vehicle had checked the number on the gate.
He alleged that although he had complained to the CID about a month ago over the death threats he received over the phone, the police has not recorded any statement from him
