A woman from Ragama gives birth to sextuplets at the Castle Street hospital

A woman from Ragama gave birth to the sextuplets at the Castle Street Hospital for Women (CSHW) in Colombo this morning. Hospital sources said that five babies are receiving medical attention. In the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) of the Castle Street Hospital, while the other infant is at the National Hospital in Colombo. They are being closely monitored by the specialist doctors as they were born prematurely, according to hospital sources.
