Hundreds of women marched towards the Fort Railway Station today, demanding that the government protect the rights of the people. The protest march was organized by the Women’s collective. The protest march created a heavy traffic jam.
The protesters demanded the promised wage hike for plantation workers’, reduce the commodity prices and find immediate solutions to the ongoing fuel and power crisis.
