Cost of living skyrockets

Food prices are likely to be increased following the decision of the flour millers to jack up the price of flour by ten rupees a kg. Accordingly, bread and other bakery products will cost the consumer more. The price, of a loaf of bread weighing 450 grams will be five rupees more than the current price. The new prices will be effective from midnight today.
Meanwhile, the canteen owners association has announced that the price of a packet of rice will cost the consumer ten rupees more. All the other food items also may cost more following the gas price hike announced yesterday.
Meanwhile, Litro gas has revised the prices, a domestic gas cylinder, weighing 12.5 kgs will be sold at Rs2675, the price of 5kg gas cylinder will be Rs1071 and a Cylinder of 2.5 kgs will be Rs 506
