‘Asi Disi’ accident and medical insurance cover for media

The Ministry of Mass Media has launched an emergency accident and medical insurance scheme for the media. Called the ‘Asi Disi Scheme’ it will be for media personnel who are active in the media but don’t have insurance cover from any media organization. The other eligibility criteria are that the applicant is  between 19-65 years old, has a valid media identity card and is registered with the Government Information Department.
