The Bar Association of Sri Lanka (BASL) has called on newly appointed Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe to show as soon as possible that he is able to establish a consensus of the majority of political parties in parliament.
The BASL Executive Committee in a statement issued today also said that the Prime Minister must build a Government of National Unity to implement a Common Minimum Program for the people.
