BASL asks new PM to show consensus in parliament

The Bar Association of Sri Lanka (BASL) has called on newly appointed Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe to show as soon as possible that he is able to establish a consensus of the majority of political parties in parliament. The BASL Executive Committee in a statement issued today also said that the Prime Minister must build a Government of National Unity to implement a Common Minimum Program for the people.
