The BASL is playing a prominent role in promoting the rule of law.

The Australian High Commissioner in Colombo yesterday said that the Bar Association of Sri Lanka plays an important role in strengthening the judicial system and promoting the rule of law and a level playing field. The High Commissioner made these remarks during a meeting with BASL representatives led by BASL President Kaushalya Nawaratne at the BASL premises.
