CBSL hopes worker remittances would bring over six billion US$

The Central Bank is optimistic that Sri Lanka will receive over six billion US$ through worker remittances and another 2. 3billion US$ from the tourism industry. Banking sources said that this could boost Sri Lanka's foreign reserves.
