CEB is to be broken into fourteen private companies

The Ceylon Electricity Board is likely to be broken into fourteen separate entities in the proposed restructuring of the institutions. According to Public Utilities Commission sources, all fourteen of these entities will be privately owned. Steps are already underway. to privatise the Ceylon Electricity Board.
