We are facing a critical situation, we are short of oxygen short ventilators and vaccines, we won’t tell anybody to change government this is a national crisis it is time to get together and save the people Former Prime Minister RanilWickremesinghe said in an announcement. If we don’t work according to the health guidelines the country will face a grave situationUS institute of health metrics evaluations has projected many deaths in the coming months he said. Since all the committees have failed the Cabinet along with the President should take the full control over the situation he added. It is important to talk to Opposition parties and work for the wellbeing of the people this is not a political issue but a national crisis. Although the need to work in a more cohesive manner was pointed out earlier all that was not heeded the Former Prime minister said.
