Dayasiri asks SLPP MPs whether they would vote to oust Janaka Ratanayake.

SLFP General Secretary Dayasiri Jayasekera asked the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna MPs whether they would vote to remove Public Utilities Commission Chairman Janaka Ratnayake. Jayasekera says the people can see who really loves and who hates the people of this country when the motion to remove the PUCUSL chairman is taken up for debate in parliament on May 24. The government did not accept the commission’s recommendation to suspend the power cut during the last advanced-level examination. Children studied for the exam by the light of kerosene lamps, he said.
