A Colombo magistrate has directed the mobile service providers of Mrs Rishad Bathiudeen’stelephones to provide call records to the BorellaPolice for further investigations into the death of their domestic employee.

The Magistrate’s order came after the BorellaPolice had requested the court’s permission to access call records of four people, including Bathiudeen’s wife, her father, and the agent who brought the victim for employment.

The domestic teenage girl (16) died of burn injuries few days after hospitalisation.

The Magistrate further directed the bank providing services to the agent to furnish details of his monetary transactions to the BorellaPolice.
