We have not found the delta variant in the community so far. Says Professor Nilika Malavige in a tweet message. She states that the latest sequencing data is available to prove the point. Hence she says the story in Australian news about the delta introduced to Melbourne by a Sri Lankan isn't true. It was a transit passenger from elsewhere.
