Deputy Chairman Mihintale PS remanded

Three persons including the Deputy Chairman of the Mihintale Pradeshiya Sabha arrested for sexually exploiting a15-year old girl was ordered to be remanded till July 15 by the Colombo Chief Magistrate's Court.

They were ordered to be remanded after being produced before Colombo Additional Magistrate Lochana Abeywickrama.

The suspects were arrested by the Police Children and Women's Bureau in connection with the sexual exploitation of the girl for over three months.
