Don’t vaccinate healthy children above the age of 12.

The Ministry of Health yesterday requested the parents to refrain from vaccinating healthy children above the age of twelve against the Covid 19 pandemic. Health authorities said though a vaccination drive is underway to vaccinate children between 12 to19 with comorbidities, a decision to vaccinate healthier children is still under consideration. They said the experts are yet to make recommendations on the vaccination of healthier children and advised the parents not to rush the children to vaccination centres.
