Drug dealer sentenced to death after a twenty- year trial

  A man was sentenced to death by the Galle Provincial High Court for drug- related offences after a trial that lasted for twenty years. He was charged for having 382 grams of Heroin in his possession in the year 2001 when he was only thirty-one years old. After the long drawn trial he was sentenced to death today by the Galle Provincial High Court.
