Hakeem slams Health Ministry
A decision to allow to bury the remains of Covid victims in Sri Lanka will be taken after consultations with the Expert Committee of the Health Ministry, State Minister Dr. Sudarshani Fernandopulle told Parliament today.
She told Parliament the matter will go before the expert committee before taking a decision. We should do it in accordance with the due process she told

A mature decision has been taken by a very mature politician understanding the predicaments of the country, minorities and issues surrounding reconciliation. It has now gone to Geneva we don’t want such things to happen he said.
Stating that authorities must act on the Prime Minister’s considered view, MP Hakeem questioned as to who in the Health Ministry’s pseudo expert who are blocking this decision causing racial tensions in the country.
