Harin, questioned for six hours

The Criminal Investigation Department yesterday questioned SJB Parliamentarian Harin Fernando for nearly Six hours over the Easter Sunday Terrorist attack of 2018. The Parliamentarian having walked out of the CID, threw a challenge to Minister of Public Security Sarath Weerasekara for an open debate on the Easter attack. He can bring anyone. He told reporters. “I am ready to appear on any TV channel for the debate,” he said. Fernando further said he told the officers of the CID not to question him on the speech he made in Parliament since he spoke under privilege.
