Indian High Commission in Colombo vehemently denied the despatching of Indian troops to Sri Lanka.
The IHC pointed out that blatantly false and completely baseless reports appeared in a section of media that said India was dispatching its soldiers to Sri Lanka.
The High Commission also condemns such irresponsible reporting and expects the concerned to desist from spreading rumours.
