Jeevan Thondaman and Pavithre Wanniarachchi were sworn in as Cabinet ministers this morning before the President which increased the number of Cabinet Ministers to twenty.
Thondaman took charge of the Water Supply and Estate Infrastructure Development portfolio, while Wanniarachch was appointed as the Minister of Wild Life and Forest Resources Conservation.
A few more ministers will swear in shortly and the Cabine will be expanded to 30.
