People in the Kandy District are likely to be vaccinated using the Russian Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine,
Minister Keheliya Rambukwella has reportedly said that the vaccination process will begin next week in five high-risk areas in the Kandy district.
The areas have been identified as Kundasale, Mada Dumbara, Pathadumbara, Kandy city limits & Gangavata Koralaya.
